Fondirigenti 1/2026 | Managerial Value: The Enabling Role of Skills as a Multiplier of Competitiveness

 

The evolution of the market requires leadership capable of transforming complexity into opportunity. To support this challenge, the new Fondirigenti Call 1/2026 has been published, titled “Managerial Value: the enabling role of skills as a multiplier of competitiveness.”

The Call aims to support companies in structurally strengthening managerial skills, recognizing them as the main multiplier of competitiveness in an economic context characterized by rapid transformations, digitalization, competitive pressures, and new environmental and social transitions.

 

Objectives

The goal is not only to update skills, but to strengthen a company’s ability to create value through its corporate managers.

Specifically, Fondirigenti aims to support companies in adopting training programs for managers designed to:

  • interpret market complexity and turn it into effective strategic choices
  • lead people and organizations in a context of continuous change
  • strengthen strategic and managerial competencies
  • integrate advanced technologies, data, and digital tools into decision-making processes
  • foster innovation, sustainability, and coherent organizational development
  • consolidate leadership models that enhance corporate culture, wellbeing, and performance
  • improve performance, efficiency, and process quality
  • transform complexity into opportunities for growth and value creation

The Call finances company training plans with a maximum contribution of €15,000 per company.

Total available resources amount to €18 million, aimed at strengthening companies’ ability to create value through their executives.

Training that is mandatory by law (such as workplace safety or GDPR privacy training) cannot be funded.

 

Intervention Areas

The Fund finances training pathways that transform learning into competitive advantage, not technical or standardized interventions.

Training plans must fall within one of three strategic areas:

  1. Human Resources Management (Workforce Planning; Performance Management; Digital HR Tools)
  2. Organization of Production Processes (Lean Management; Project Management; Agile Methodologies)
  3. Advanced Use of Technology (Generative AI; Cybersecurity; Data-driven decision making=

 

Details

Target participants:
Executives of companies that are members of Fondirigenti.

Entrepreneurs and managers who are not formally classified as executives may also participate as auditors/listeners.

Training may be delivered by training providers, which can be either legal entities or professionals, but they must fall into at least one of the following categories.

Training Institutions with Formal Requirements

  • Training providers accredited by the relevant Regional authority
  • Providers certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 – EA 37 sector (education and training)
  • Italian or foreign universities
  • Institutions with internationally certified quality management systems
  • Institutions recognized by the Ministry of Labour under Law 40/1987
  • Technical Institutes and ITS Academy institutions issuing secondary or tertiary education qualifications

Qualified Professionals

  • Professionals with appropriate certifications (for example, certifications recognized for specific competencies in the relevant training area)
  • Professionals with at least 5 years of experience in the training content area covered by the intervention

 

Deadlines

Application submission: Online from 18 March 2026 to 23 April 2026.

Training activities may start only after the publication of the ranking list.
