The energy efficiency of a production site, approached by analyzing current norms and laws, with systems (hardware and software) of detection and developed thanks to dedicated analysis tools.
The course introduces the method of selection and choice of materials devised by prof. Ashby with particular reference to issues related to critical raw materials and design for environment (dfe). Trade-off methodologies for multi-lens selection and co-selection material form that is the basis of lightweight design will be introduced.
The specifications for the supply of aluminium alloy castings require an adequate knowledge both of the current regulations on the classification of alloys and of the problem areas, and of the main critical issues to be highlighted in the definition of contracts. With reference to the main EN regulations, the course illustrates the fundamental steps to follow in the structuring of the specifications of supply of aluminum alloy castings.
