Best Practices for High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) Process Management

Format: In-person, held at the production facilities
Dates: December 11, 2025 · March 2026 · June 2026 · October 2026
Target audience:
Operators, shift leaders, and tooling technicians involved in the management and optimization of the die casting process.
Objectives:
Provide a theory-and-practice-based training program built on the decades of experience (30–40 years) of the instructors. The course is designed to make HPDC process management more effective and efficient, and can be fully customized to meet the customer’s production needs.
Main topics:
- General functioning of the die casting machine: overview of the main units (clamping, injection, etc.)
- Injection parameters: cycle phases, curve reading and setup
- Overview and management of the machine auxiliaries
- Quality control during sampling and mold management: thresholds, malfunctions, process-defect correlations, and downtime management
- Post-startup updates and checks to consolidate best practices
Future focus areas (complementary courses):
- Furnace management
- Lubricant handling and disposal
